Prep's defense was outstanding in the season opener at Sharon, yielding nary a point in an exciting 15-13 win at Sharon. The Tigers scored a pair of defensive touchdowns, but the Ramblers forced multiple turnovers, a safety and held their opponent to just 24 rushing yards on 29 carries. Tucker Palotas returned a forced fumble for a score, while DaZarie Carson had a 3-yard scoring run.
