Scott Baldi '90 is in his third season as the Cathedral Prep softball head coach. Last year the Ramblers posted a 16-7 record winning the Region 5 title and capturing the fifth District 10 championship in school history. In two years under Baldi the Ramblers have a record of 36-10.Â
Coach Baldi is in his 26th year of coaching multiple sports, including baseball, basketball, football, and softball at the youth, high school, and adult levels. He is also the founder and director of the Erie Lady Outlaws Softball and Erie Outlaws Baseball organizations since 2009. Coach Baldi currently coaches the 17U Erie Lady Outlaws. Scott also serves as director of the Erie Diocesan Youth Football Program. Scott was inducted into the PA Softball Hall of Fame in 2025 with his team Bonnell's who won the 2001 ASA Modified National Championship.
He has worked at Stairways Behavioral Health since 2001. Coach Baldi is a 1990 graduate of Cathedral Prep and a 1995 graduate of Edinboro University with a B.S. in Education. Scott and his wife Danielle have two children, Alex '19 and Addison '26.
