Scott Baldi ’90 is entering his fourth season as head softball coach at Cathedral Prep. Last season, the Ramblers posted a 7–7 record. During his tenure, Coach Baldi has led the program to two District 10 Championships in three seasons and has compiled an overall record of 43–17.
Baldi is currently in his 34th year of coaching multiple sports, including high school baseball, basketball, football, and softball at the youth, high school, and adult levels. He is also the founder and director of the Erie Lady Outlaws Softball and Erie Outlaws Baseball organizations, which he established in 2009. In addition, he serves as Director of the Erie Catholic Youth Football Program.
In 2025, Baldi was inducted into the Pennsylvania Softball Hall of Fame as a member of Bonnell’s, the team that captured the 2001 ASA Modified National Championship and won 11 PA State Championships.
Professionally, Scott will celebrate his 25th year with Stairways Behavioral Health this October. He is a 1990 graduate of Cathedral Prep and earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Edinboro University in 1995.
Scott and his wife, Danielle, are proud parents of two children, Alex ’19 and Addison ’26.
